  1. Ingredients:

    For Base:

    Butter - 1tbsp
    Garlic - 2 cloves (roughly chopped)
    Onion (medium size) - 2 (roughly chopped)
    Salt - 1/2 tsp
    Tomato (medium size) - 2 (roughly chopped)
    Ginger - 1 inch (roughly chopped)
    Cashews - 6 nos.

    For Paneer Butter Masala:

    Butter - 4 tbsp
    Bay leaves - 3(small)
    Cinnamon - 1
    Cardamom - 2 pods
    Kashmiri Chilli powder - 1.5 tbsp
    Sugar - 1/2 tsp
    Salt - 1/2 tsp
    Garam masala powder - 1tsp
    Milk - 1 cup
    Paneer - 20 cubes
    Heavy Whipping Cream - 3tbsp
    Kasuri methi - 1 tsp

  2. Method of Cooking:

    First let's prepare the base:

    Heat the pan
    Add Butter - 1tbsp
    Garlic - 2 cloves (roughly chopped)
    Saute 30 seconds
    (Don't burn)
    Add Onion (medium size) - 2 (roughly chopped)
    Salt - 1/2 tsp
    Saute in medium flame, until onions become translucent.
    Add Tomato (medium size) - 2 (roughly chopped)
    Ginger - 1 inch (roughly chopped)
    Cashews - 6 nos.
    Saute well.
    Cover and cook 5 - 7 min, or until tomatoes are nice and soft
    Cool down completely
    Grind to a fine paste
    Keep aside.
    Our Paneer Butter Masala base is ready..

    Now let's prepare our yummy Paneer Butter Masala:

    Heat the pan
    Melt Butter - 4 tbsp
    Add Bay leaves - 3(small)
    Cinnamon - 1
    Cardamom - 2pods
    Saute well.
    Turns Aromatic.
    Add Onion Tomato base
    Mix well in medium flame.
    Once the base absorbs the butter fully
    Add Kashmiri Chilli powder - 1.5 tbsp
    Sugar - 1/2 tsp
    Salt - 1/2 tsp
    Saute well in medium flame
    Cover and cook 5 min or until butter separates
    Stir once inetween to avoid burning
    Add Garam masala powder - 1tsp
    Mix well for 30 - 45 seconds.
    Turns aromatic.
    Add Milk - 1 cup
    Mix well, adjust consistency
    Again Cover and cook 5 minutes in medium flame
    (If need stir once inbetween to avoid burning)
    Simmer the flame
    Add Paneer - 20 cubes
    Mix gently
    Add Heavy Whipping Cream - 3tbsp
    Crush and add Kasuri methi - 1 tsp
    Mix gently.
    Once again Cover and cook 5 minutes in medium flame
    (If need stir gently once inbetween to avoid burning)
    Mix gently
    Our yummy Paneer Butter masala is ready!!
    Excellent combo with Poori,Chapathi or Phulka!!!
