Instructions
  1. Ingredients:

    Ghee - 2 tbsp
    Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Poppy seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Bay leaf - 3
    Cinnamon stick - 2
    Cardamom - 2
    Cloves - 2
    Ginger Garlic paste - 1.5 tbsp (freshly crushed)
    Onion(medium size) - 2(roughly chopped)
    Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
    Salt - 1 tsp
    Tomato (medium size) - 1 (roughly chopped)
    Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
    Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tbsp
    Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
    Paneer - 100g
    Fresh Green Peas (or Frozen) - 1.5 - 2cup
    Salt - 1/2 tsp (or as required)
    Water - 1cup
    Coconut milk - 1/2cup
    Coriander leaves - few (for garnishing)

  2. Method of Cooking:

    Heat a pan in medium flame
    Add Ghee - 2 tbsp
    Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Poppy seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Bay leaf - 3
    Cinnamon stick - 2
    Cardamom - 2
    Cloves - 2
    Give a nice mix
    Turns aromatic
    Add Ginger Garlic paste - 1.5 tbsp (freshly crushed)
    Saute 30 seconds
    (Don't burn)
    Turns aromatic
    Add Onion(medium size) - 2(roughly chopped)
    Give a stir
    Add Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
    Salt - 1 tsp
    Saute, until onions become translucent in medium flame.
    Don't burn
    Add Tomato (medium size) - 1 (roughly chopped)
    Saute until tomato cooks completely
    Once tomatoes are nice and soft, add Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
    Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tbsp
    Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
    Mix well for 30 - 45 seconds.
    Turns aromatic and oil seperates.
    Add Paneer - 100g
    Give a nice mix
    Add Fresh Green Peas - 1.5 - 2cup (or Frozen)
    Give a nice mix until masala coats completely
    Add Water - 1cup, adjust consistency
    Salt - 1/2 tsp (or as required)
    Mix well, cover and cook it for 10 - 15 minutes in low to medium flame.
    (If need stir gently inbetween to avoid burning)
    Now add Coconut milk - 1/2 cup
    Mix well and cook 1 minute in low flame
    Finally add coriander leaves for garnishing and turn off the heat.
