  1. Ingredients:

    1. Badam - 1 cup
    2. Brown sugar - 1 cup
    3. Boiled milk - 1 cup
    4. Pink food color - 2 pinch (mix 2 pinch of pink food color in 6 spoon of warm milk)
    5. Cardamom - 2 pinch
    6. Ghee (CLARIFIED BUTTER) - 4 table spoon
    7. Salt - 1 pinch

  2. Method of cooking:

    First, Let's see how to make Almond paste

    • To remove the skin of Badam (Almonds).
    • Take 1 cup of badam in a bowl, add 2 cups of water soak for 2-3 hours or put in hot water for 1/2 an hour to make it fast.
    • Peel the skin
    • Add 1 cup of Almonds and 1 cup of milk to a Mixer jar grind into a coarse paste.

     

    Now let's see how to make Badam halwa

     

    • Heat the non-stick pan, add 3 table spoons of ghee.
    • Once ghee is melted add almond paste.
    • After the paste is fully absorbed by the ghee add 1 cup of brown sugar.
    • Keep the flame in medium till end, so that badam cooks well.
    • Stir it continuously, until the sugar dissolves completely.
    • Now it starts to bubble slightly, add mixture of pink milk and keep stirring continuously.
    • After 10 minutes add 2 pinch of cardamom powder and a pinch of salt to enrich taste.
    • Stir continuously to avoid burning and let it cook for 10 minutes.
    • After 10 min halwa is almost ready now we gets perfect texture.
    • Finally, when it doesn't stick to pan add 1 spoon of ghee and turn off the flame otherwise it starts caramelizing.
    • For decorating I used white chocolate chips.

    Our delicious Pink Badam Halwa is ready to serve….
