  1. Ingredients:

    Ghee - 2 tbsp
    Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Poppy seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Cinnamon stick - 2
    Bay leaf - 1
    Onions - 3
    Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
    Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp
    Coriander powder - 1 tsp
    Chilli powder - 1 tsp
    Green Chilies - 2 to 3
    Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tbsp
    Paneer - 100g
    Peanut - 1cup
    Coriander leaves - For garnishing
    Water - as required
    Salt - 1 tsp

  2. Method of Cooking:

    Take 1 cup of peanut.
    Soak in water for about 5-6 hours.
    Take a pressure cooker, add soaked peanut and 1 cup of water.
    Add 1/2 tsp of salt.
    Pressure cook it for 5-6 whistles or until peanuts are soft.
    Heat a pan add 2 tbsp of ghee and add 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds.
    Add 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
    Add 1/2 tsp Poppy seeds(optional)
    Add 2 small Cinnamon stick and 1 Bay leaf,
    saute 1 minute in medium flame.
    Add 2 tbsp of freshly crushed Ginger Garlic paste,
    saute 1 minute .
    Now add 3 roughly chopped onions, 2 - 3 green chillies and 1/2 tsp salt,
    saute until the onions becomes translucent.
    Now add 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder, 1 tsp Garam Masala powder, 1 tsp Coriander powder, 1 tsp Chilli powder,
    saute 1 minute.
    Now add paneer and saute well for 1-2 minute.
    Now add boiled peanuts stir well.
    Add 1/2 -1 cup of water,adjust consistency and salt if required.
    Cook it for 8 - 10 minutes in medium flame.
    Finally add coriander leaves for garnishing and turn off the heat.
    Our spicy peanut paneer gravy is ready!!!
    Serve with Poori, Chapathi, Idli or Dosa!!!
