For Buttermilk:
Milk(Room Temperature) - 3 tbsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
For Red Velvet Mug Cake:
Wheat flour(maida) - 3tbsp
Brown sugar(white sugar) - 3 tbsp
Cocoa powder - 1/2 tbsp
Baking powder - ¼ tsp
Red Food coloring - 1/8tsp
(or Boiled Beetroot Puree 1.5 tbsp)
Salt - a pinch
Melted Butter(Oil) - 2tbsp
Vanilla extract - 1/4 tsp
Buttermilk - 3tbsp
Roasted Cashews - 3 (optional)
For Buttermilk:
Take Milk(Room Temperature) - 3 tbsp in a bowl
Add Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Give a nice mix
Our instant Buttermilk is ready!
Keep aside..
For Red Velvet Mug Cake:
Take a large mug, add Wheat flour(maida) - 3tbsp
Brown sugar(white sugar) - 3 tbsp
Cocoa powder - 1/2 tbsp
Baking powder - ¼ tsp
Red Food coloring - 1/8tsp
(or Boiled Beetroot Puree 1.5 tbsp)
Salt - a pinch
Give a nice mix
Now add Melted Butter(Oil) - 2tbsp
Vanilla extract - 1/4 tsp
Buttermilk - 3tbsp
Mix using a fork, make sure everything is combined well.
Smooth and lump-free batter is ready.
Microwave for 1 minute(1200 watts) if required additional 30 seconds..
(Insert a toothpick, if the toothpick comes out clean the cake is done)
Finally, garnish with Roasted Cashews - 3 (optional)
