Instructions
    Servings: 200g
  1. Ingredients:

    Curry leaves - 1 cup (roughly packed)
    Chana dal - ¼ cup
    Urad dal - ¼ cup
    Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
    Oil - 1 tsp
    Tamarind - small gooseberry size
    Red chilies - 4
    (For more spicy add 5-6 red chilies)
    Hing (Asafoetida) - 1/4 tsp
    Salt - 3/4 tsp (or as required)

  2. Method of Cooking:

    Heat a kadai on low to medium flame
    Add Curry leaves - 1 cup (roughly packed)
    Roast the curry leaves till it turn crispy.
    (Don't burn)
    Turns aromatic keep aside.
    Heat the same kadai on low to medium flame
    Add Chana dal - ¼ cup
    Urad dal - ¼ cup
    Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
    Roast until the sesame splutters and dal turns golden color.
    Turns aromatic keep aside.
    Heat the same kadai on low to medium flame
    Add Oil - 1 tsp
    Tamarind - small gooseberry size
    Red chilies - 4
    (For more spicy add 5-6 red chilies)
    Saute 1 minute
    Keep aside.
    Add Hing (Asafoetida) - 1/4 tsp
    Salt - 3/4 tsp (or as required)
    Allow to cool completely.
    Transfer the mixture to a blender.
    Grind to a slight coarse powder
    (Make sure you don't add water)
    Karuveppilai Podi for Hairgrowth is ready to serve!!!
