In this video we will see how to make Cauliflower masala for Kid's in tamil. Kid's cauliflower masala is a best combination for Poori, Chapathi, White pulao and Phulka. For making this Kid's cauliflower masala we need to make a base with onions and tomato. Kid's love it for their lunch box and no left over. This recipe is enriched with calcium, fiber and good source of protein for children.

  1. Ingredients:

    Butter - 4 table spoons
    Onion - 2
    Tomato - 1 big / 2 small
    Garlic - 6 cloves
    Ginger - 1 inch
    Cinnamon - 3 small pieces
    Cloves - 5
    Bay leaves - 2
    Cardamom seeds - little
    Cashews - 7
    Cumin seeds - 1/2 spoon
    Kashmiri Chilli powder - 1/2 spoon
    Aachi biryani masala - 1/2 spoon
    Fennel seeds powder - 1/2 spoon
    Turmeric powder - 1/2 spoon
    Cauliflower - 200 g
    Paneer - 150 g
    Carrot - 50 g
    Coriander

  2. Method of Cooking:

    • First, let's make a base with Tomato and Onion
    • Heat the pan, melt 2 table spoons of butter
    • Add 6 pieces of chopped garlic
    • Add one chopped onion and little salt
    • Once the onions are translucent, lets add one chopped tomato, 1 inch of ginger and 7 cashews
    • Saute until tomato cooks completely
    • Add 1/2 spoon turmeric, 1/2 spoon fennel seeds powder, 1/2 spoon kashmiri chilli powder, 1/2 spoon aachi biryani masala
    • Saute 2 minutes
    • Turn off the heat and allow the mixer to cool down
    • Move the mixture to Mixie-jar and grind it to a fine paste
    • Now the base is ready for our kid's cauliflower masala
    • Now melt 2 table spoons of butter
    • Let's add 1/2 spoon of cumin seeds, Cardamom seeds, 1/2 spoon of poppy seeds, 5 Cloves, 3 small pieces of Cinnamon, 2 Bay leaves
    • Saute for 1 minute
    • Add 1 chopped onion and salt as required
    • Saute until the onions are translucent
    • Now add 200 g of chopped cauliflower, 150 g of chopped paneer and 50 g of chopped carrot
    • Saute for 5 minutes
    • Now add the onion tomato base
    • Add water as needed, cook for 10 minutes on medium heat
    • Finally, add coriander for garnishing
