Ingredients
Almonds - 30nos
Water - as required
Fresh coconut - 1cup
Garlic - 2 cloves
Ginger - 1 piece
Hing - pinch
Salt - 3/4 tsp or as required
Green chilli - 2
For Tempering
Oil - 2tsp
Mustard - 1tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4tsp
Urad dal - 1tsp
Dried red chilli - 1 broken
Curry leaves - few -
Procedure:
Step:1
To remove the skin of Almonds.
Take 30 Almonds in a bowl, add 1 cup of water soak for 2-3 hours or put in hot water for 1/2 an hour to make it fast.
Peel the skin .
Step2:Add 1 cup of fresh coconut
Add Skin peeled almonds
Add 2 cloves of garlic
Add 1 piece of ginger
Add a pinch of Hing
Salt - 3/4 tsp or as required
Add green chilli - 2
Pulse 3-4 times
Add Water 1 cup or as required
(If you want thick consistency add less water)
Grind coarsely
Our yummy and healthy chutney is ready
For Tempering
Heat oil - 2tsp
Add Mustard - 1tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4tsp
Urad dal - 1tsp
Dried red chilli - 1 broken
Curry leaves - few
Saute well, Turns aromatic.
Pour tempering over chutney.
Serve with Hot Crispy Varagu(Kodo Millet) Dosa!!!
